Personal Statement

I have been a multi-sport athlete my entire life playing basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming and football. I continue to play varsity basketball in high school along with football.  My first experience in tackle football started as a freshman. However, I have excelled since and continue to grow exponentially. I started both ways as a freshman and sophomore and was one of the leaders in the State of California for sacks as a freshman. I have been voted defensive player of the year for my team and continue to grow as a player and person. At the varsity level I am a starting Offensive Tackle but still play several series a game on defense.  I was voted All League as an Offensive Tackle for the 2024 season. My goal is to be one of the top tackles in Orange County for 2025. I demand high standards of myself both physically and academically. I am relentless in my training both during the season and in the off season. I have put on over 60 pounds in one year though lifting and diet, with my goal of playing the 2025 season at 270 or above. In addition to my academic and athletic goals, I am also a huge believer in giving back to the community. I am on track to earn my Eagle Scout this year and continue to volunteer in my spare time.  My goal is to get better each day, athletically, academically, and personally.  I promise that any program that believes in me will get my best and nothing but maximum effort all the time.
