Personal Statement

My name is Zach Neuman, and I’m a junior currently playing my third year of Varsity Basketball at Frankfurt International School in Germany. As a combo guard, I pride myself on strong defense, high basketball IQ, and the ability to both handle the ball and create my own shot. I lead my peers with confidence and composure.

My goal is to earn a college degree while continuing my journey toward playing in the NBA or Overseas. During my collegiate career, I’m committed to pushing myself to the highest level while competing for championships, building strong relationships with teammates, coaches, and staff, and leading by example both on and off the court.

I approach my academics with the same drive I bring to basketball. Being a student-athlete means mastering balance, and I attend every class with the mindset to learn, grow, and excel. The fear of falling short of my potential is what fuels me every day. I thrive under pressure, work well with others, and am known for being intelligent, outgoing, and confident. Above all, I’m a leader—whether in the classroom, during practice, or in competition.

What sets me apart is the effort, pride, and dedication I bring to every opportunity. I give my all in everything I do because I love the game—and I’m ready to keep growing, competing, and succeeding at the next level.
