Personal Statement

My name is Mason Bucciero and I am in the Class of 2026. My love for football started at an early age. I don't remember a time when I didn't love the sport. 

I was four years old when my younger brother, Carter, passed away from an inoperable brain tumor. Since my mom was in Memphis with him at St. Jude, I had a lot of time with my dad. We would watch football games together and that's where my love of the sport started. 

Football has shaped me to be the best version of myself, both on and off the field. I am a Beta Club member, a St. Jude Leadership Society member, a black belt in martial arts, and a NSHSS member. My goal is to bring my talent and leadership to the next level as a collegiate athlete. I am a versatile player, having played every position on the offensive line and defensive line. 

I hope to bring my drive, passion, and leadership to a collegiate program and to thrive as a collegiate athlete.
