Personal Statement

Hello, I'm Anthony DePasquale! I first picked up a shot put during the winter 2021-2022 season and have fallen in love with it ever since.  My distances have been growing rapidly, going from 30ft in my first meet to 45ft+ in my most recent meet. After the winter season, I instantly knew that I wanted to throw shot put at the next level. I want to throw for a team that would love to have me all the while getting the best education possible. I am a good candidate for any team because I push every single one of my teammates while giving and taking feedback from everyone in the organization. What makes me different from other athletes is that I am a well-rounded student. I m involved in my school's marching and symphonic band while still being a 3-sport athlete. I am also in the young politicians club at my school.
