Personal Statement

I'm Kole Trapp, a junior in the class of 2026 at Blair-Taylor High School in Wisconsin. I'm 6 foot 210 pounds. I'm a three-sport athlete, I play baseball, hockey, and football all year round. Each one of the sports taught me different skills that I can use in baseball. My sophomore year I threw out 19 baserunners. I caught over 2,500 pitches during my sophomore season, catching every inning of every game. In my freshman year, I was awarded ROTY and in my sophomore season, I earned 2nd team all-conference with our team winning the conference title. 

Academically I work very hard as well, my current GPA is a 3.69 out of a 4.0 scale. I am ranked 9th in my class. I take classes that challenge me to learn more about my interests and prepare me for college. My future interests in college are somewhere in the sports medicine field along with personal training, physical therapy, or strength and conditioning coaching. 

Since I started playing baseball, my goal has been to play at the collegiate level. I do not take this goal lightly. I'm on a personal workout plan, constantly striving for improvement. I stretch, lift, plyometrics, or play baseball every day. I'm also on a throwing and hitting program for baseball. I try to do anything I can, to make myself the best I can be. I'm very hard-working, a great teammate, and a leader on the teams, motivating my teammates to do their best.
