Personal Statement
My name is Samuel Mott, I am a 2025, 6'5" 185 pound Wide Receiver. I am a student at Tioga High School and live in Collinsville Tx. Going to a small high school has provided me with many opportunities to grow athletically. By the time I graduate, I will be a four-year letterman in Football, Baseball and track. This past year has been amazing as I have truly found my passion in football, track and spending time putting in extra work in the gym to get stronger. I came to the realization during last football season that continuing to play football at the next level is what I really want. I have set some personal goals to gain weight and become stronger. One of the sacrifices I had to make was to spend the winter months in the gym instead of playing basketball on the Varsity Basketball team. At the end of my football season last year I was 170lbs and my bench press max was 235. By March 2024 my weight increased to 185lbs and my bench press max has increased to 290lbs. During the track season I was able to focus a lot of my attention on speed training, allowing me to get my overall 40 time down to a 4.55 and will keep improving that time. Academically, I have taken college courses through Grayson College. I will be able to graduate high school with an associates degree in college. Over the years of high school I have paid attention and have kept school priority maintaining a GPA of 3.4.
