Personal Statement

I am a 14-year-old 6-foot-3, 200lb quarterback for 5A Dixie Heights High School in Edgewood, KY starting for the Freshman and JV teams and 2nd string for Varsity.  I am a 3-sport athlete also playing basketball and baseball, all while attending specialized quarterback training and college camps over the summer. 

Academically, I was a member of NJHS in 8th grade, carrying a 3.8 GPA.  Currently in my freshman year, I am enlisted in Advanced Placement and accelerated courses. 

I started playing quarterback at the age of 5.  During youth football, due to my size, I was able to play almost every position on offense.  This I believe expanded my knowledge of the game and provides me today with the ability to understand the game from multiple aspects.   By middle school I returned to the quarterback position where I have excelled ever since and served as one of the team captains.

As a result of my God-given size and arm talent, I believe my greatest strengths are my throwing power and accuracy as well as my anticipation and understanding of the game.  Apart from this, I have a strong ability in the game to keep my composure and maintain my poise, focusing on the next play and not the last play.

Metrics were collected through a variety of drills during the Wilson QBX camps where players threw footballs using Wilson X Connected QB tracking technology embedded in each ball.
