Personal Statement

My name is Nicholas Christopher Wilson and I am a 2022 center back recruit. I have very strong intentions of playing soccer at the college level and I bring a solid amount of experience to the team, as I have participated at the Developmental Academy level for about 6 years, including a year and a half at NYCFC Academy. I bring to your roster dedication, commitment, perseverance, and leadership. I aspire to win national titles, regardless of the college program that I am playing for and I want to help contribute to the success of my future teammates. I believe that it is important to succeed as a team first and as an individual second which is why I believe I would be an important player for a college roster. I am a strong believer in academics as well as athletics and I aspire to obtain a high level education at whichever program I end up at. I have maintained a GPA on the high honor roll for every year in both middle school and high school and will continue to do so at the college level. I bring a strong determination and fighting spirit to any team which I play on which is why I have been honored to have been captain at every club I have played at. Overall, I believe that I can make an instant impact at every program that I may land at in one way or another.
