Personal Statement

I have been playing softball for around 10 years now. Through playing softball I have learned that no matter how rough things get or how many mistakes you make, if you are determined to fight you will win. My academic goals for college are to major in science in nursing, so that I can pursue my dream to be a midwife. My best skills physically for sports is that I am fast. My other skill that is probably my best skill is the fact that I am super outgoing and will always talk to strangers. As a kid going into high school I was scared of not being good enough for sports teams, but I realized fearing the unknown is only an obstacle for what you can be.
