Personal Statement

      As I look to life after High School, I plan to attend a four year university to prepare me for my future as a Early Education Major.   I do not plan to close the door on my soccer career while attending college, but rather I have aspirations to further my soccer career at the next level.  I am always asked what I love about soccer, but it is so difficult to sum up in a few words, but I will try.  I love the comradery, the competition, and just playing. If I was to be asked what makes me, me and stand out above other goalkeepers it would have to start with my soccer IQ, to be able to read the field and know how my teammates, but more importantly what my opponents, are going to do or react before they do.  What I am most proud of on the field is the way I have grown as a comminutor, to be able to use my ability to read the field, but now to communicate it to my teammates, so they can succeed as well.  I have a  fearlessness that allows me to face any opponent (physical or mental) head-on.  My willingness and determination to work harder than the next person or even my own body to battle back from injury.   My indomitable spirit allows me to conquer any goals or challenges in my path to accomplish whatever I set out to succeed in whether it maybe school, life, or soccer.   I did not allow the pandemic, virtual learning, or people trying to label me, to cause me self-doubt, or allow myself to fail, but rather accept those challenges and strived to become the best version of myself.  If there is anything one needs to know about me it is nothing will stop me or hold be back, not in the classroom, the soccer field, or life... I will fight for myself, my family, and my teammates.
