Personal Statement

I'm a high IQ athlete that is coachable with a competitive drive and strong work ethic. In addition to sports, I take pride in my academic achievements. I am in the North Allegheny gifted academic program (GOAL) and currently have a 4.3 cumulative GPA.

I have enjoyed sport since a young age and was named as a Team Captain for my middle school soccer and basketball teams and qualified for Track Invitationals in the Triple Jump. As a junior, I am currently a three-sport athlete playing for my High School teams as well as club soccer for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (ECNL) . At the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, I am a Team Captain for the 2006.2007 ECNL Regional League team. In my "spare time" I enjoy with youth athletic programs and volunteering for a variety of philanthropies.

I am looking for a school that will help me to develop academically and athletically. Playing multiple sports has taught me time management skills and discipline. I embrace challenges and thoroughly enjoy the memories I'm making with my teammates and friends.
