Personal Statement
In my life I have had lots of great people who have pushed me to be my best. Honestly the one that pushed the mosts/hardest for me it is my dad. My dad got me involved in softball after I helped a lot with my little brother's baseball teams. I owe all of my success to him. From softball I have learned how every person has two personalities. When you step on the field the rest of the world fades away, you are a different person.
Starting up in softball, I was always told I was too short or too slow. I was always the "weak link". Being told that I wasn't good enough gave me that extra push. I trained extra hard and now I step onto the field every time knowing I am proving something to all the coaches and myself. I have improved so much over the years pushing and always striving to be the best. I believe that the skills that I bring to the table as well as my personality make me a good addition to any team. I will strive to make sure that I surpass standards set and to go above and beyond.
My goals academically are to study pre-med in college while playing the sport I love. I strive with the same passion from softball to school work. The drive to be the best always goes beyond softball and flows out to my school work. Always seeking to meet high standards and challenges not only placed on me by teachers but by myself as well.
