Personal Statement

My name is Lisa Spencer, I am a very determined athlete. I strive to be the best I can be at all times, whether I am not very good at the sport or whether I am amazing at it. Success is not reached if you only give 100% on the days you feel good, giving my all is what I look at as success. I have some pretty high goals in life and I will accomplish them. I want to study English and minor in Music. I find character is what gets you places, if you have a bad attitude about life or if you let the last bad thing bother you than you will never be happy. The past is the past, learn from it and move on. I am currently 6th in the state in discus, I placed 4th and 6th in the Down Under track conference in Autralia. I have a GPA ranging from a 3.7-4.0. I like to challenge myself, I hope that i can take my athletics to the next level and become a better athlete.
