Personal Statement
My name is Daunte Williams, I am entering my Junior year at Mortimer Jordan HS in Kimberly, AL. My love for the game started when I was young watching it on tv. I knew right away that I wanted to be one of few to be able to play on Saturdays. To make that happen I’ve pushed myself during the off-season putting in the work. My coaches realized it and gave me an opportunity by starting me as a freshman even though it was my first year playing the position. I took the opportunity, showed out, and gained respect from my team and coaches. I have started every game on varsity in my HS career. The field isn’t the only place where I push myself. I also push myself in the classroom where I’m an honor roll student and currently sitting with a 4.0 GPA.
