Personal Statement
Parents, Teachers, and Coaches would describe me with three words:
- Integrity
- Discipline
- Determination
In my life, my parents have taught me to always respect authority, always do my best, and never quit. I have used these ideals to be successful in my relationships with others, in the classroom, and in athletics. It is important to me that I live up to these standards going forward into school and football.
My father played college football and growing up in Southern Georgia has instilled in me a love for the sport. I have been playing organized tackle football since I was 7 years old. My favorite professional football team is the Indianapolis Colts. Playing football has taught me many things, including how to be a good teammate, mental and physical toughness, and setting life goals.
I am currently in middle school, but I plan to attend high school at Benedictine Catholic Military School. Academics are very important to me. Both of my parents have graduate degrees and have instilled in me the value of education. In college, I would like to study accounting, architecture, or engineering. I have always excelled at math and my current teacher is really good and has motivated me to pursue a field associated with numbers.
I am blessed to live in a beautiful area of the country with warm weather year-round. I enjoy boating, fishing, biking, basketball, and collecting football cards.
My long-term goal is to be a college student-athlete and play football. I know I have the foundation of good mental skills, physical skills, and support to reach this goal. With character, determination, and hard work, I will develop these skills over the coming years.
