Hi, my name is Coleson Baum, I play for the Bartram Trail Bears in St. Johns County, Florida. I strive to be a key leader on the team by always leading by example. I lead by working hard, being respectful and kind to my teammates and coaches, and taking school seriously.

I am a football player willing to put in the work, mentally and physically. I am the player that wants to be the first one at practice and the last to leave. I want to give 100% to every drill and every workout. I want to study and be prepared for the next team.

I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. I played all positions, but always gravitated toward Quarterback. I am a great listener and very coachable and want to improve each game, I think these characteristics make me a great QB.  I am very calm under pressure and do not get caught up in the excitement. Through this position, I have learned you have to be patient, work hard, and act on every chance you get to showcase your talent.

My goals through high school are to enjoy every Friday Night Lights, study hard, and have great grades that would allow me to pursue additional opportunities at great colleges. I want to attend a college where I can make memories and contribute to the campus by making a football program great and interacting with the student body.

In addition to football, I play varsity baseball, volunteer in the community coaching youth athletes’ and like spending time with my family and my two dogs.
