Personal Statement
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Being a 2-sport athlete, sports have always been a major part of my life. Ever since I turned 6, football has been my life. I noticed I have a natural talent and was also gifted with speed. I played football, basketball, and baseball for my town's recreation center. When I started middle school, I was able to add track to my athletic list. The coaches noticed my speed instantly and had already heard great things about me from playing recreational sports.
Outside of school, I have played for football clubs such as FBU and FSG which was a great learning experience for me. Playing sports at a young age and reaching national youth team levels have made such a positive impact on my life. I learned leadership skills, became more experienced in football, and developed teamwork and new brotherhoods in all.
I hope to study athletic training at a university. Since sports has played a major part in my life, I enjoyed training myself and my peers. I would love to gain more knowledge and pass it on to people who are just as eager to learn as I am.
I have double weightlifting in school every day and I go to the gym and work out on the weekends to maintain. I'm learning about all muscle groups and even how to bulk up properly. I have helped train my friends and I have learned as I taught them. We helped improve each other overall.
I love to study different training methods not only for football but track as well. This summer I plan to continue my workout journey and add more knowledge sports wise and fitness wise. Hopefully, my eagerness and the knowledge I can gain from the NCSA program will take me to great places and connect me with even greater people.
