Personal Statement

My name is Claire Rideout and my passion is softball.

My goal is to be a top contributor to my team at the college level utilizing the skill set that I am constantly building upon. I aspire to be part of a winning team, working with my teammates to achieve success. Excelling under pressure, being a natural leader and constantly working to improve are characteristics that I can bring to a team. 

I will play for the U17 Blackbears (Saint John, New Brunswick) in the summer of 2025.  Our team competed across Atlantic Canada and Maine. 

In 2024 I was able to improve on my skills, work with great coaches, play with and against great players and has fueled my passion for softball, driving me toward my goal of playing at the NCAA level.

I am looking forward to 2025 and how I can improve and gain more experience.
