Personal Statement
IG: Alj_Junior X; Aljjunior2
Football has been a tool to teach me discipline, work ethic, teamwork, and leadership. I've been blessed to have a loving family that has supported my dream, coaches who have pushed me to be the best version of myself, and a community that has humbled me. My goal as a child has been to become a collegiate athlete and earn a college education. Although I would love the opportunity to play in the NFL, education is one of the most important things to me and my family. I have played football since I was 4 years old and have fell in love with not just the game but the process of the grind. I consider myself to be one of the top defensive backs in the class of 2027 and one of the top wideouts in the class of 2027 as well. All I need is an opportunity to show the world what I have and I won't disappoint.
My promise as a Student-Athlete is to excel at all aspects of the term starting with being a student. I've set a goal to graduate High School with a 3.5 GPA or higher. The plan is to receive academic scholarship consideration and athletic scholarship offers. I am currently considering majoring in Physical Therapy, Sports Management, Sports Medicine, or Education. My ideal college experience would be to earn an academic scholarship and a Football scholarship.
In my opinion, I would make a great candidate for any team setting due to my ability to adapt as I fit in where I go. I would like to thank my Mom and Dad (my dad has coached me since I was 3 years old) for teaching me how to be a member of a team and how to lead. I take pride in being effective in practice, film study, and in-game situations. I will be a player coaches can count on to be on time, understand my assignments, ask questions, give all effort and allow my play to lead by example. My teammates will always be able to count on me to do my job, to stay prepared by watching film before and after practice, and by fine-tuning the details in my game.
