Hello, my name is Ashton Hunt. I am a quarterback from the Class of 2026. 

Growing up, I watched football with my family and I knew that was where I wanted to take myself. Once I was 8 years old, I played in a flag football league for the first time. Ever since then, I have played football every fall and winter, improving my craft and making others better in the process. I have been committed to the sport since my childhood, and I am barely breaking into my full potential. I have learned to be a leader, both on and off the field. I have learned how to be a good friend, teammate, and pupil, and I know I can still strive to become better in each of those aspects. I cannot explain the amount of love and passion I have for my team and the sport I play in a single sentence. I am grateful for my team and my coaches, as they have all worked day after day to make me a better player and young man. 

Off the field, when I am not playing my heart out or improving myself in practice, I am at home with my family. I have four younger siblings--three sisters and one brother. I help my mother care for and play with each of them and I have learned how to be compassionate and kind. I have learned that I am the person they look up to and I have made myself a better person because of that. I shaped myself into who I am today and I am both proud of myself and thankful to my siblings for opening my eyes. 

I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and above for my entire life. Handling my grades and my classwork is not and never has been a worry for me. I take care of my work in the classroom and hold myself to the standard of representing myself and my team with respect and dignity. I have learned the need to be patient yet determined in order to succeed. My leadership role has grown and I have improved physically and mentally. I am preparing myself to play football and compete in college and I am searching for the right program to assist me in reaching my goals. I'm certain that I have the talent to compete for the starting position on a college team. Not only that, but I have the integrity, toughness, and level of commitment that is needed to make an impact and succeed at the collegiate level.
