Personal Statement
I believe college is where function meets opportunity. I'm naturally curious, and learning comes easily, but college allows me to connect with the right information and people to be who I want to be, both athletically and professionally. I've always been interested in coding and game development, so computer programming and data engineering are good fields for me.
Athletically, I can play on both sides of the ball as a left tackle and tight end or a defensive end. I'm available for the position that benefits my team most and gives us the edge we need to win. I'm still young and developing, but I work daily on my body, agility, flexibility, technique, and strength both independently and with my trainers and coaches. I'm an asset on any team because I learn quickly and work extremely hard. I still have plenty of growing to do physically, mentally, and athletically, so, as a 6'3" 225 incoming freshman, imagine where I will end up.
I will enter high school with five credits towards my diploma because I was able to take Algebra I as a 7th grader and Geometry as an 8th grader, as well as a robotics class and other tech education courses that count as high school credits. Since 6th grade, every core class I've taken has been pre-AP, and I maintain an A B average throughout my honors courses. I was also in the honors band playing percussion and won several awards for my talent. I was even able to get my DBA for "Anywhere Gaming Co." because I developed, designed, and produced a battle card game that I'm currently working on getting to the market.
Above all else, I've been taught to respect the process and the grind, and I try to do that in every aspect of my life.
