Personal Statement

I have loved the game of basketball since a very young age.  My goal is to obtain a college scholarship to play at the next level and be a contributor to my team.  Academics is also very important to me and I hope to gain an education through an opportunity to play college basketball.  I currently carry a 4.0 GPA and I'm focused on being a Student-Athlete.  I enjoy the process of working hard to improve my game,  to get stronger / quicker/ faster, and becoming a smarter player on/off the court through my exposure to coaches and other players.  I also consider being a good teammate and being coachable extremely important.  I like for people to know that they can count on me and I enjoy the pressure that comes with being a leader.  I hope to have the opportunity to bring value and winning to a college program.
