Personal Statement

My name is Tyreak Holgate. I am a student athlete that attends Legacy High Charter in Apopka Florida. I developed a love after I moved from Canada to the US. In Canada I was a track & field athlete and the training I received developed my explosiveness and agility on the court. I am a coachable player who is willing to put the extra time and extra reps to be the best basketball player I can be. My goal is to play basketball and become a valuable player on a college basketball team. Things haven't always gone my way for example I was played at power forward and didn't really excel in that area but I stuck with it and tried to improve to show everyone that I can be a very good shooting guard and that I was not 7 feet tall , just athletic :)
