Personal Statement

Every time I take the field, I step out with the mindset that I need to play the best game I've ever played. There is no such thing as an easy win. I strive to improve at every opportunity. From the time I started playing football at seven to now, the months leading up to my Junior season, I've worked hard and take pride in my accomplishments as a football player. As a quarterback, I strive to be a leader on my team to ensure we remain motivated and coordinated. I also use that drive to succeed in my academics. I maintain a high GPA and take the most advanced classes available. I am a multi-sport athlete; playing high school baseball, basketball, and track and field. I also participate in various other activities, such as Teens Against Drugs and Alcohol (TADA) and Volleyball Club. With continued hard work and determination, I have goals to further both my education and sports career at an institution that matches my values.
