Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Julisa Balderas. I'm a sophomore at Flower Mound HS, I play for the school as well as outside of school. With all the time I've spent playing and practicing in the game of softball, it's safe to say that I've learned many lessons and retained a lot of information. I have lots of love for the sport because it's taught me so many things and has implemented discipline, mental toughness, determination, and teamwork into my life. I have gone through many phases during my softball career and will continue to go through more. However, I will take what I have learned in my past experiences and make sure to improve on the little thing's day by day and step by step. I have become conscious of how blessed I truly am and I'm hungry to only give the best of myself in every aspect of my life. On the other hand, I am still a fun person and I'm always cheering on my teammates, I enjoy celebrating my teamates succeses and accomplishments. I love to surround myself with people that I can look up to and learn from. Thank you for your time!
