Personal Statement

Multi sport student-athlete with a relentless work ethic and love for the game. Coachable team player who is always studying and training.  

Hi, my name is Michel Vespi I am a 5’11, 170 junior at Montville township high school (class of 2025). Sports have been a central part of my life growing up and taught me the value of persistence, humility, and what can be achieved when a team works together. Always eager to learn more about the game for better performance from actionable feedback during practice sessions with coaches and teammates to optimizing reps or simply enjoying playing each time I  step onto that  field. On offense, I try to always be a reliable receiver for my quarterback while making the tough, contested catch, but also love doing the little things that help us win games – like blocking in the run game. As a Safety on defense, I have experience playing down in the box in run support, but also playing deep in both Man and Zone Coverage. I’m opportunistic no matter what level of the defense I’m playing at, and any chance to stick my nose in a play and make a hit, I am always there to take it. Most of all, though, I try to set an example by always giving 110%, and which is one of the reasons I was recognized by my coaches and teammates with the alpha wolf Patches , leader of the pack!
