Personal Statement
I am a highly qualified candidate for any Division I and II college due to my explosive speed and ability to play the game. At Rivals Camp, I ran an official 40-yard dash time of 4.4 (laser) and 4.3 (hand-time). Yet, there is more to me than just speed. I am a dedicated and hardworking athlete who is coachable and capable of applying any given instruction to any play. My work ethic can be observed in the time and effort I put to improve my skills, both on and off the field. My goal is to always strive to be the best player I can be and always give 100% of my effort, whether in practice or during a game.
Currently, as a Senior, I am starting as Wide Receiver (Wout and Slot), Punt and KOR, and Running Back. Throughout my Sophomore and Junior year in high school, I starred as Quarterback, Safety (strong safety and free safety), Running Back, Corner Back, and Kick and Punt Returner for my school's varsity football team. During my freshman year, I played for my school's varsity team in Special Teams during kickoff and punt return. As an Athlete, in addition to the positions I have played, I can also play as a Wide Receiver. I have also led my team as Captain during my last three years of high school.
While being athletically-inclined is a requirement, so, too, is being academically apt. In addition to focusing on my football career, I also prioritize my academics. Currently, my GPA is a 3.9 weighted and a 3.2 unweighted. I am in line to graduate in Spring 2025 with all NCAA academic requirements to play either Division I or II football in college for Fall of 2025.
In conclusion, I have the right mindset and attitude. I am a team player who's willing to put the needs of the team above my own, and I have the mental toughness to handle the challenges of college football. It's not just about the game to me, it's about the person I become through the game.
