Personal Statement

I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old, and I love it.  I would like the opportunity to continue to play a sport that I live and breathe while attending college. I think that college softball would give me lots of opportunities to improve my skills and academics. I am a very recruitable player. I am a great leader for my team, and I am always talking on the field and ready for the next play. I always try to keep a positive mindset on the field while also trying to keep my teammates up as well. I really want to play college softball because I would like to continue my softball career after high school, and expand my knowledge of the game, and I know playing college softball is where that will happen. I love watching college softball on T.V. and getting to experience that myself would be a dream come true. 

I think that I would be a great asset to any team because I have great softball knowledge and am ready for anything. I'm a great listener and I love getting feedback to improve in any way that I can. I am a good student and very respectful. I'm always willing to learn and do anything for my team and teammates. I love making new memories with my teammates and in college I would be able to make even more memories with completely new people. I think I am a good candidate because I am coachable, a quick learner, dedicated, determined, have great game sense, am always looking for the next play on the field, and I can play multiple positions. I came into my freshman year of high school throwing four different pitches between 58-60 mph and made the varsity team.  

My goal is to play at any college level that will allow me to grow and improve my skills, while still having fun and creating a memorable experience that I will never forget. I'm looking to find a college and coach that will best fit my personality and what I like, and someone who I can always talk to if I have any questions or problems.
