Personal Statement

My name is Christian Lyons I'm 16, and I have been playing football since 4 years old. I play Corner and Punt returner. When I was younger I started off as a running back, but then changed positions to Receiver.  My dream has always been to play football at the highest level, and make it to the NFL. As a player I bring speed, versatility, IQ, and athleticism to the field. From day one my parents, both of which have master degrees, have stressed the importance of education. I am aware of the value of education, and how the brain is more reliable than the body is. I am an all A student, and in college I would want to major in sports management. If football didn't work out I would want to be a sports agent or an actor. I want to become a sports agent to keep the game close in proximity to the game. As acting I've developed a love for performing, so that would be my secondary career choice. Outside of football I have many creative outlets that I enjoy. Theatre, piano, and voice lessons. Both these activities allow my mind to unlock different parts of my brain which I feel is important, especially on the field.
