My aspirations are to play in college and become an integral part to my team. For me, dealing with pressure has been one of my best qualities, whether its taking a penalty to send my team to a final or making a crucial stop on the goal line, high pressure situations have never been an issue for me. I believe this comes from a confidence in both myself and my team, as I know that my teammates are capable and I put my full trust in them so I can focus simply on my contribution and doing my job. Academically I am a very strong student and enjoy challenging myself academically as well as athletically. I have a deep love for history and the lessons it can teach you about the world. I also have a great love for French, I am taking French IV as a sophomore and I plan on continuing my French through college. School is very important to me as it gives me a career option outside of soccer and my school and parents have instilled in me the value of a good education.
Leadership is also a big part of my game, based on a mix of playing as a defender which lets me view the field and the extensive watching of professional games and personal film, I have the confidence to give advice and conduct play on the field. As a player who has gone through 3 different club and school coaches, adapting is something I am very good at, and learning to buy into a new team or coach and committing my whole self both physically and mentally allows me to thrive in whatever position or role I have to play. For as long as I have been playing competitive soccer I have played up an age group, because of this I've become a much tougher player and it taught me from a young age not to shy away from a player based on size or skill. I also played as a rotational player for my schools varsity team as an 8th grader which matured my play style very quickly.
