Personal Statement

Hello Coach,

 My name is Brady Payne and I am currently a student at Sachse High School in Sachse, Texas. I'm an interior lineman. I know I have what it takes to help your team win. I am a hard worker who loves to compete. I am the ultimate team player and I feel any coach would want a player like me on their team as the sum is greater than the parts and I fit that mold for any team that will have me.   I've been playing football since I was 4 years old, and I've always wanted to play in college while working on my degree. One thing that playing lineman has taught me is that this game is about the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. I don’t hear my name over the speakers a lot, but I know when I execute my job well, our team does well and I never want to let my teammates down.  I plan to major in Engineering. I have a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale.  I would love an opportunity to work with you and your staff to develop my skill set further and learn invaluable information, in turn, making me a better player, leader, and man.
