As a student-athlete at Robert Vela High School, my goal is to continue excelling at both the collegiate and athletic levels, where I can contribute to a football program that values hard work, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. Academically, I’ve maintained a 3.7 GPA, demonstrating my ability to balance rigorous coursework with a demanding athletic schedule. I believe that education is the foundation of success, and I strive to uphold high standards in the classroom, just as I do on the field.

Athletically, my achievements as a 6'3", 260-pound offensive lineman have been recognized at the district, regional, and even national levels. Being named 1st Team Tackle in District 31-5A and 1st Team Offense in District 15-5A speaks to my ability to protect my team and execute plays at a high level. Additionally, being selected as one of the top four offensive linemen in the Rio Grande Valley reflects my consistency, technique, and work ethic. Competing with some of the best athletes across Texas has pushed me to continuously improve and refine my skills.

In track and field, I have further proven my athletic versatility. My accomplishments in shot put and discus—where I ranked in the top 50 in Texas and top 100 nationally—have strengthened my overall athletic profile and allowed me to develop power, endurance, and mental toughness, all of which transfer to the football field.

What sets me apart from other recruits is not just my athletic ability, but my character. I am coachable, dedicated, and a leader on and off the field. I approach challenges with a positive attitude and a relentless work ethic, always striving to learn from my coaches and teammates. I understand that success requires resilience, preparation, and teamwork. I am ready to bring these qualities to the collegiate level, where I will continue to develop and contribute to a team’s success.
