Personal Statement

My goal is to be the best player I possibly can and to play against the best competition in the country.  I work at this every day not only with practicing fielding, hitting and pitching but also in my fitness, diet and mental preparation.  

As an individual in athletics and academics, dedication is my strength. I am willing and able to put in the time it takes to hone my skills as a player, and I welcome critique to better myself. I look forward to improving my skills at the collegiate level. I like to be presented with a challenge and given an opportunities to overcome them. 

Outside of skill building and practice, I look forward to building life-long relationships with my teammates. By attending softball camps and competing in competitions, I’ve been able to meet people from different areas and witness the benefit of making friendships outside of the town where I grew up.
