Personal Statement

My plan after high school is to be a math education major while playing. I want to become a math teacher and basketball coach. I am a hard-working dedicated student athlete, who does whatever I can to succeed and to also help my team succeed.  Basketball means everything to me. It has been an outlet for me all my life, and I want to be a leader for kids looking for that outlet. I have been playing with my older brothers since the day I could pick a ball up. I know I would be lost without it. I will spend hours and hours in the gym improving myself. I would be honored to learn and play under a coach of the next level. It's been my dream to continue playing ball after high school, and my grades prove that. I was valedictorian of my eighth grade class, and I am now ranked number one in my class academically. I take concurrent college classes. I am always up for a challenge, and I hope you keep your eyes on me as I finish high school!
