Personal Statement

I am a student-athlete who loves to play field hockey. Academics are my priority but pushing myself at school and on the field is what I strive to do every day. I thrive when I am worked harder. As a freshman, I made 3 varsity sports teams and maintained straight A's while doing so. I have done the same this year as a sophomore. Encouraging my teammates as much as I can and having a positive attitude on and off the field are very important to me. Also, I love feedback and criticism that can constantly help me to improve my game. I strive to be coachable and a great teammate to all. Playing field hockey in college has been a long time dream of mine and is a goal I have set for myself.
