Personal Statement

As a football player, my career has been filled with a lot of ups and downs.  I never understood why so many obstacles kept coming my way. As I got older, I realized everyone goes through similar situations. What separates you from the rest is how you react to the obstacles thrown at you. I separate myself from others by working harder on and off the field and giving it 150% everyday to achieve my goals.  I also refuse to listen to those that try to take me away from achieving my  goal of playing college football. I could have said “ I quit “ and taken the easy way out, but my passion for the game never once allowed me to entertain that idea . I was raised to fight for what I want and prove everyone wrong  . All the challenges that have been thrown at me just made me even more ambitious. I work beyond my comfort zone every day to make sure I never feel the pain that I once felt of not being able to reach my goals. My ultimate dream is to play football at the collegiate level.  I have played various positions in my career and in each one I gave it all that I had.  I am an impact player who loves to work closely with the coaching staff.  Not only am I coachable, but I believe my passion and grit for the game will allow me to one day be an elite player.
