Personal Statement

My biggest goal when it comes to baseball is to start as a freshman on a college roster. My ability to lead a team in a winning direction is unmatched. A couple of ways I do this is through my constant hustle and work ethic. You will never see me slacking off when there is an opportunity to get better. I am also very strong in the communicative side of the game. I am able to help my team by communicating the actions needed to be taken, to better the team as a whole. In regards to the colleges I am interested in, I am very open to all levels and locations of various schools. My plan is to study sports management throughout my college education. One of my proudest accomplishments in high school baseball was winning the 2022 5A Texas State Championship. I was one of very few players to get pulled up to a competitive varsity program during my sophomore year. Despite my young age, I was seen as a leader to the juniors and even some seniors on the team. This leadership role carried over into this last season as well as on my select team. I know what it is like to win when it matters the most and I will bring that winning culture to any college baseball program. I stand at 6' 4" tall, weigh 170 pounds, and my 60 yard dash is a 6.75. This summer, I am focusing on putting on weight in preparation for the upcoming high school season. I am enrolled in all AP classes, in the top 4% of my class at Georgetown High School, and have sustained a 4.0 GPA throughout all three years.
