Personal Statement

Hi!  My name is Marco Torres.  I am entering my senior year at Alexander High in Laredo, Texas.  My position is Outside Linebacker, but I feel that I am capable of playing any position that fits my frame and athletic capability.  I hope that you have an opportunity to view my profile with NCSA.  I would love the opportunity to speak with you regarding the possibility of playing football at the collegiate level.

 

My college goals consist of:

 

•             Obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Nutrition

•             Playing Football at the next level

•             Maturing as a young man to prepare me for the next step in life

•             Experiencing college in an athletic/team environment to build friendships

•             Have fun, meet people, and ultimately grow as a person

 

I know that I would be a good candidate for your program, because I have a have strong work-ethic, I am disciplined, and have a passion & intensity for football.  I know both my coaches and teammates can agree to all of that.  I am very coachable, and I love to listen to any instruction.  I just want to get better.  As this football season begins, I am taking all the steps to prepare for a large leadership role.
