Personal Statement

I am Aden Davenport and I am a rising Senior at Palmer Trinity School. I am a 5’11 183 pound quarterback and I have been playing varsity since freshman year after a tough battle with the junior quarterback at the time. These qualities became vitally important to my personality and my everyday life. I was eager to play and worked harder than anyone else to get that spot and lead the team. Starting as a freshman was a big step from middle school football and being one of the youngest on the team I had to find the maturity in myself and lead the team myself. During my sophomore season and during covid, we had a decent year overall and we definitely could have done better in a lot of aspects. I spent the summer going into my junior year working on getting better in every part of the game and bettering myself so I can be a better leader. That summer I also took the opportunity to coach a 10u football team. It really helped me see both sides of the coaching process and put my own knowledge to good use and help others in the process. Leading up to my senior year, I am working harder than ever to be the best I can and lead my team for the 4th straight year.
