Personal Statement

I have been a student athlete as long as I can remember. I am hardworking on the court, weight room, and classroom all together. I feel some of the most important qualities I can have are belief in myself is my ability to work with my teammates. I strive to work my hardest to help myself and others become better, that is what leaders do! I take great pride in wearing many hats on the court and being that teammate to pick you up and be that leader on and off the court, doing whatever it takes to help my team reach their highest potential. There is no greater feeling than working as a team to accomplish something really special! I get goose bumps just thinking about it and the times I have that happen. I take just as much pride in my academics as I do on the court.  My duty is to be a responsible student as much as it is to be a responsible athlete.  Being an athlete and playing sports my whole life I’ve learned the only way to stay on top of your game is to work hard everyday and practice. The exact same holds true in life!
