Personal Statement
Larry Pickett Jr. is an honor student at William G. Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC. He will graduate in 2023. He wants to study business in college.
Larry is the son of Larry Pickett, Sr. and Shawnonne Pickett. He has two younger sisters, Olivia and Lauren and a dog named Bailey.
Larry's parents are leaders in the community. They own 2 preschools in Raleigh as well as a virtual learning and tutoring center. They also serve as Youth Pastors of their Church.
His parents are also corporate trainers in their respective fields. Shawnonne teaches on early childhood development and Larry Pickett, Sr. was ranked one of the top auto industry executives in the United States and trains dealership staff across the country.
Larry volunteers as a Youth Ambassador for Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC.
Larry Jr. also recently spent time in Mexico with his parents helping to build homes for the less fortunate.
