Personal Statement

Football has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years on and off the field. From flag football to being Pop Warner National Champions and now Point Loma High School football, I’ve had the opportunity to be coached at a high level and have been surrounded by great teammates. Having had these experiences, my game has been pushed to the next level. It’s taught me to be a strong leader and good teammate.  I realize for me to achieve my football goals I have to continue to excel in the classroom. My goal is to play college football and be the best student athlete possible. I’m inspired by the following family athletes who competed at the college level: my dad-Swimming-Ball State University; maternal uncle-Basketball-Purdue University; maternal great grandfather-football-University of Michigan; and maternal great-great grandfather-ran hurdles-University of Michigan.
