Personal Statement

I was not athletic as a young child, I threw the ball once and awhile but I had never played on a team. Going into sixth grade my friend gave me the information and got me to join the local team he was on. This is where it all started and it was hard at first. A lot of the team had played since they were 5. I knew very little about the game and the biggest obstacle was probably being social with everyone.

The past few years I have grown up a lot and i’m happy to see where the future takes me. Im very passionate about the sport, I have a great work ethic, I give my maximum effort , and i’m very coachable. There is always rules when growing up but the one that has stuck with me is to give 120% effort 110% of the time. My dad has always said “why do something if you’re not going to do the best you can, give 110%.” this is the biggest thing for me and I live by it.
