Personal Statement

I am a dedicated individual who enjoys and appreciates the comradery of team athletics while still recognizing the absolute importance of solid academic performance. I work hard on the football field and in the classroom, giving both 100%. On the field, I view both wins and losses as opportunities for growth and further development. I try to always remain positive and look for the good in every situation. I never let a win make me comfortable with my level of performance because I know the more effort i put into it, the greater the reward I'll reap. Likewise, I never let a loss discourage me or stifle my efforts. This is the same way I approach my studies. I never settle for average so I strive to improve my grades always. My major that I plan to take up is sports management. I believe that dedication, determination, positive attitude, and self-discipline, make me an ideal candidate for any team. While I strive for personal excellence, I remain an absolute team player offering encouragement and support to my fellow teammates. I’m a outgoing person who likes to make people laugh. All these factors distinguish me from other recruits. My parents have raised me with the understanding of the true importance of one's character. I am an honest, dependable, ambitious individual. I'm not afraid to stand up and speak out for what is right. I'm just truly grateful for the many talents and skills I've gained through my years of practice and hard work and hope to be able to utilize and expand them within an established football organization.
