Personal Statement

My goals for college are to get the education and experience needed to help me be successful in my chosen career path. As a football athlete I am very coachable and versatile. I have played and can play many positions. I strive to be the best at any position that I am placed in. I challenge and push myself to beat my times and maxes to better myself. I aspire to one day play football professionally but I know that when my football career is over I will need the education to provide for myself and my family, with that being said i strive to do the best that I can in all of my classes. I am a hard worker on and off the field. Aside from football I am very active in my church as my parents were children's pastors for over 11 years. My dad is currently on the pastors council and is a deacon while my mom works with the youth department. I volunteer my time to help with various outreach projects in and around my community such as building wheelchair ramps for the elderly or handicapped, tending to their lawn or changing their oil.  I also help teach in children's church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. My ultimate goal is to not only be successful in my career and finances but to be a great husband and an amazing dad one day.
