Personal Statement

Hello and thank you for reviewing my NCSA profile! My name is Gabe Karstaedt and I attend Riverside High School in Leesburg, VA. During my junior year, I had 40 receptions for over 880 yards and 9 touchdowns. I also competed in track as a sophomore and qualified for the Virginia state finals in the 4x100 and 4x400.

Collegiately, I want to belong to a university that shares my competitive spirit in the classroom and on the football field to help develop and prepare me for all of life’s challenges. One of my favorite things about football is competing with my team. Some traits I believe your program will appreciate about me are dedication, humility, dependability, and a never quit attitude. You’ll be hard pressed to find anyone that will outwork me.

I understand the cost of selecting young men to your program. I’d like to reassure you that if given the opportunity to compete with your team, my actions on and off field would reflect the character and gratitude your program expects from it's athletes.
