Personal Statement

I am a 5'8 running back from Ozark, Alabama. I have started on the Carroll High School junior varsity football team for one year and have rotated on varsity for the past two years. I have a 4.0 GPA and a current ACT score of 19. I am looking to significantly increase my ACT score. I am also looking for an institution where I can easily balance the workload of the classroom and the field. Preferably, I would like to continue my education at a HBCU with an  exceptional academic reputation in the field of criminology. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I can make an instant imprint on the team. I believe my best fit would be at a D1, D2, and/or an institution at the NAIA level.
