Personal Statement

My name is Anthony Barajas and I am a 2021 LB/RB prospect from Centennial High School in Bakersfield, CA.  My passion for  football began at a very young age: in fact, I began playing during second grade.   As I have grown older, almost into a mature adult, my passion for the game has only increased.  My goal is to prepare myself, both physically and mentally, to play at the collegiate level.  My goal is to play for a Division I school, that will not only better me as an athlete, but will simultaneously provide me with an excellent education. I have spent quite a bit of time working to perfect my football ability and physically training to become a stronger player.   I believe that I would be a great fit for your football team as well as a high performing academic student.  My current core cumalitive GPA is 4.06. I am also a leader, who's interest is to maintain a strong and well-orientated team. I am very determined and have high aspirations for my future.  I am a kind and independent teen, who's will power allows me to accomplish great things.  This includes pushing myself to earn grades over the school's average and challenging myself by taking honors, advanced placement, and college courses.  My physical abilities and attributes come from training and valiant effort to better myself.
