Personal Statement

There's no question about it, I love football! I might not be the tallest or the biggest but I will give you 100% and play with all heart. I have a natural leadership ability, I am the one on the field showing team mates where to line up or where to go on plays they aren't familiar with.

Coming from a small town & small teams, I have always played both ways; I think this makes me a stronger player and more adaptable player than most. I'm naturally a defensive player in all the sports I play. I have played strong safety for the majority of my years on defense. My 8th grade year on the JV football team, I had a coach tell me that he had never saw a player at my age have the ability to read a play like I could. Offensively, I've got good hands and have always been at wide receiver or quarterback. I am a true pocket passer, I stepped up my last year of JV from 2nd string QB after the 1st game of the season when our QB broke his collarbone. I lead the team to the first winning season in over 6 years.

I try to be a good team player, I will play & do whatever my coach asks of me.  I played WR, QB & FS for the 2019 season. I will be WR & SS if I am able to have a football season this year.

Football is that one sport, that when that last HS game ends; you know it's over (for most). I refuse to let my football career end on my HS field. I will continue to play at the collegiate level. I would love to have a scholarship offer from a school, but if I don't I will walk-on at which ever college I find myself at.
