Personal Statement
My name is Aaron Ray Gomez and I was born in Fort Hood, Texas. I have started my senior year and I am doing everything I can to make this year and season the most successful yet, in the classroom and on the football field. As a three year varsity starter, I am now a team captain and leading the offensive line from the center position. I am also taking advance placement and honors classes to raise my 3.2 gpa higher and to prepare for a college load of classes and work. I am working as hard and much as I can because I am hoping and praying that a coach will give me an opportunity to showcase my talents and when someone does, I want to able to give them a complete player and student.
Spending time with my parents and two brothers is what I love to do when I am not busy training or attending camps. We love to travel together and experience new adventures together. My long-term goal has two parts and the first is to play football for a college team that best fits my needs and abilities. The second part of my long-term goal is to play for the National Football League.
I understand that chances of playing at the collegiate level are small and the chances for playing in the NFL are even smaller which is why I am training as much and as hard as I can to achieve both. I believe my greatest asset is my love of learning about the game and always practice and play with an open mind and open ears to do on the field what my coaches expect from me. In conclusion, I would like any coach interested in me to know that I am always one of the hardest workers on my team and I am always willing to learn as a football player, as a student, and as a person.
Very respectfully,
Aaron Ray Gomez
